Happy New Years Eve! Welcome
I decided to start a new blog, for the new year! I hope I can make it a peaceful, fun place to sit a bit, relax and do a little chatting. My friend Tammy has such a fun blog and I have enjoyed her,s so much she had asked me if I was going to wrie on my blog anymore for the new year. My old blog was fun but I soon discovered it was boring reading to me so I stopped at only a few post,s. I have seen so many fun and interesting blog,s I wil try my hand at it again. I will try to hangin there this time! I would like to ask all you Southern ladies out there if you have the Southern traditon of eating black eyed pea,s and cabbage for New Year, day? My friend down South here told me she and her family has hadthis traditio forever and it is suposet bring you luck. being a yankee from New York we had never heard of this,bt we re going to try it this year. So on tomorrow,s menue will be cabbage and black eyed pea,s to go along with the rest of dinner! I do hope this New Year brings peace, hope, and contentment to all.

OK...disregard my email, I finally thought to look in your profile and found ya. I've linked this new blog on my side bar.
You are already talking my language with the blackeye peas and cabbage. They are supposed to symbolize money and wealth in the new year...it't never brought me wealth but I've never done without either...lol! You can see my full menu on my post today! I wish I could have you over and introduce you to my style of Southern cooking!
Have a great year and keep up the good work blogging!
Love & Hugs,
Tammy
