Make it a Happy day!

It is cold here again this morning, the news says 28. They also said it was supose to warm up to ner 80 this weekend. The weather changes so fast around here t is hard to know how to dress. It starts off freezing in the morning then warmer by noon. I,am enjoying these cold temps. Warm weather comes fast around texas and it is always a long hot humid summer!I,am just having my morning coffee now visiting some blogs . My friend Tammy posted her meal she cooked with some pictures. Tammy you had me drooling over your spiral ham and corn bread. I do love both ! I noticed myself yesterday that there were alot of blogs where people were going to cut back starting the New Year watching what they eat. I ended up backing a chocolate cake yesterday with cream cheese frosting! I have to have my sweets! I wish everyone a good day today! Make the most of this day, with peace smiles and laughter!

My old blog was fun but I soon discovered it was boring reading to me so I stopped at only a few post,s. I have seen so many fun and interesting blog,s I wil try my hand at it again. I will try to hangin there this time! I would like to ask all you Southern ladies out there if you have the Southern traditon of eating black eyed pea,s and cabbage for New Year, day? My friend down South here told me she and her family has hadthis traditio forever and it is suposet bring you luck. being a yankee from New York we had never heard of this,bt we re going to try it this year. So on tomorrow,s menue will be cabbage and black eyed pea,s to go along with the rest of dinner! I do hope this New Year brings peace, hope, and contentment to all.
